Job Description

Our team in Truro, Cornwall are seeking an experienced Administrator to provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative and support function to the wider team. We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will work as part of the Criminal Justice Liaison Team alongside in-house services which include prescribing and clinical, outreach, hospital and adult community and a residential rehabilitation facility.

As a member of our team you will be supporting people who access the service for help with their drug or alcohol use. These exciting roles will also continue to allow us to improve the work we have already developed around supporting clients within the criminal justice system.

As a Service Administrator, you will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), a methodical approach, and great attention to detail. You will work collaboratively as part of the criminal justice team.

Your role will be pivotal to the smooth-running of our criminal justice service. As a Service Administrator, you will provide admin support to a busy team covering courts, prisons and custody suites. You will work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

You will ensure that client records are accurately maintained, and information remains confidential at all times. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring continuity of service.

Desirable Skills

If you have worked in a charitable organisation before and/or have knowledge or experience or the criminal justice system, that would be an advantage but not essential to this Service Administrator role.
