Main duties of the job

What you'll be responsible for:

Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual. Be proficient in the delivery of care to proficient in the delivery of care to patients. Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies. Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines. Carry out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and standards. Trust : - West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Location : Hemel Hemsptead,St Albans &Watford

Pay Rate : £16-£23 Per hour

Shift Patterns : - Flexible

About the Trust:

West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust provides acute hospital-based and specialist healthcare services to around half a million people living in Hertfordshire, north London and further afield. The Trust was the first hospital in Europe to treat patients with Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, a type of ventilator that helps patients to breathe more naturally and recover more quickly. Hertfordshire has the best of both worlds, surrounded by beautiful countryside but with good road and rail links to both London and Cambridge, as well as comprehensive bus services across the main towns (Hemel Hempstead, St. Albans and Watford).

To be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team To participate in the assessment of patient care needs implementing and maintaining agreed standards of care. Following Codes of Professional Practice provide high quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the Peri-Operative Environment.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

What youll need:

Have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Registered Nurse in Theatres Registered with NMC
