RoleOverview:
As an AccountsManager / Director you will take responsibility for managing aportfolio of clients across a variety of industries. You willoversee the preparation and review of accounts deliver advisoryservices and ensure clients meet their statutory and complianceobligations. This is a key role within the firm working closelywith senior management to drive the practice forward whilementoring and supporting juniorstaff.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Managea diverse portfolio of clients providing a range of accountancyservices.
  • Overseethe preparation and review of statutory accounts managementaccounts and financialstatements.
  • Provideclients with business advisory services including financialforecasting budgeting andstrategy.
  • Ensurecompliance with accounting standards andregulations.
  • Manageand mentor a team of junior staff providing guidance and technicalsupport.
  • Buildand maintain strong client relationships acting as the main pointofcontact.
  • Liaisewith partners and senior management to support business growth anddevelopmentinitiatives.

Requirements
  • ACA/ACCAqualified with a practisingcertificate
  • Strongexperience within an accountancy practice with a focus on accountspreparation and clientmanagement.
  • Knowledgeof UK accounting standards and taxregulations.
  • Excellentcommunication and client relationship managementskills.
  • Leadershipexperience with the ability to manage and mentor juniorstaff.
  • Strongorganisational skills with the ability to manage multipledeadlines.
  • Aproactive problemsolving approach and a teamorientedattitude.
