WendoverNursery is part of the CC Nurseries Group and is based in Wendoverwithin walking distance of mainline train station at StokeMandeville and an easy commute from Aylesbury. Requirements As Head of Room youwill:

Providestimulating and purposeful experiences environments and resourcesto children that are appropriate to their age and stage ofdevelopment
Enhance the allarounddaily needs of children including their physical intellectualsocial and emotionaldevelopment
Assist with embeddingan effective key person approach to enable children to form secureattachments.
Ensure the safety andwellbeing of every child staff parent and visitoralways
Work within a team tosupport all children and team members within yourroom
Lead and support your teamtogether with supporting their training needs to ensure bestpractice at all timesUnderstand and ensurethat the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS aremet
Qualified level 3 or abovewith at least 3 years experience of working in a day nursery and atleast 1 year of leading a team.

As Head of Room you will: Provide stimulating and purposefulexperiences, environments and resources to children that areappropriate to their age and stage of development Enhance theall-around daily needs of children, including their physical,intellectual, social and emotional development Assist withembedding an effective key person approach to enable children toform secure attachments. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of everychild, staff, parent and visitor always Work within a team tosupport all children and team members within your room Lead andsupport your team together with supporting their training needs toensure best practice at all times Understand and ensure that therequirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are metQualified level 3 or above, with at least 3 years experience ofworking in a day nursery and at least 1 year of leading ateam.
