At Steer Automotive, we value excellence and innovation and we are currently looking for a skilled and experienced accident repair technician to join us as a Panel Beater at our new, state of the art bodyshop in Milton Keynes.

About The Role

You will be responsible for the repair and replacement of body components on damaged vehicles, working diligently to meet BSI PAS 10125 and manufacturer's standards, ensuring the highest quality repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Restore damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition by repairing and replacing body components. Assess the most effective methods for conducting repairs and utilise specialist body repair equipment to achieve the best results. Maintain a clean and tidy work area, following health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

Experience as a panel beater or multiskilled technician from an accident repair background. Strong technical skills and knowledge in panel beating techniques and equipment. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work. The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to assess and repair damage efficiently.

Ideally, you will be ATA/NVQ qualified, and we're committed to supporting you in renewing these to further enhance your skills and expertise.
