We are seeking an excellent Sushi Chef Chef de Partie, with an interest in Mexican & Japanese cuisine and culture, wanting career growth for a busy and vibrant restaurant located in the heart of Notting Hill. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Sushi Chef, with attention to detail, looking to take your experience to the next level. You will be working with the best ingredients to create exceptional dishes and beautiful food in a fast-paced kitchen.

The Sushi Chef de Partie reports to the Head Chef.

As a Sushi Chef de Partie we would love you to have:

  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or sushi bar.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent knife skills and ability to handle sushi knives safely.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Full ownership in your role.
  • Good English language communication skills with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
  • Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes, and standards.
  • Drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team.
  • Train and mentor junior sushi chefs, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to standards.
  • The desire to develop your career within an ambitious and trend-setting restaurant.
  • Proof of right to work/pre-settled status in UK.
