We are looking for a Teaching Assistant at Cambian SEMH and Complex Trauma Oakwood school in Shrewsbury. Position: Teaching assistant

Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire

Hours: 40 hours per week, term time

Salary Details: £21,550.72 per annum

Oakwood School is an independent specialist provision which provides high quality, personalised education for young people aged 5 to 16 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and who are at significant risk.   • The young people that you will be working with, have behavioural problems and have experienced trauma and so we would require an individual who will bring positive commitment to young people and has an awareness of their issues.

  • Be well-organised, adaptable and practical.
  • Able to work under pressure, sometimes in stressful and challenging situations
  • Self-motivated and be able to use own initiative.
