**SEN Teaching Assistant**

Location: Shewsbury

Duration: Full time, on going

**Salary**: £75 - 85 per day

**The School/role**:
A fantastic school in Birmingham are currently looking for a fulltime SEN teaching assistant to work within KS1/KS2 primary classes. The school aims to provide a secure environment where all the children's individual needs are recognised and catered for.

The school require someone committed to the teaching assistant role as they need consistency for the children, in return the school will offer all the support and additional training you may need.

A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
- SLD, MLD, ASD and Complex needs experience
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Recent school based references
- Valid Photo ID - Driving Licence or passport
- Full DBS - on the update service
