Are you a creative and nurturing educator with a passion for building the foundations of lifelong learning? We’re searching for an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our fantastic school in Maldon and help give our youngest learners the best start in their educational journey

What You'll Do:

Plan and deliver play-based, engaging, and interactive lessons that spark curiosity in our Early Years students

Foster a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child feels safe and excited to explore

Monitor and support individual learning progress, offering insightful feedback to parents and carers

Collaborate with colleagues to create a holistic, child-centered curriculum that makes learning fun

Be a vital part of our school community – from participating in staff meetings to contributing to school events

What You’ll Need:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for this role

️ A current Enhanced DBS check

A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

️ Fantastic communication skills – you're a natural when it comes to building relationships with both children and adults

Your Background:

A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field

Previous experience in an Early Years setting – you know how to keep little minds engaged and growing

A deep understanding of child development and how to nurture each child’s unique potential

A creative, fun-loving approach to teaching, with the ability to make every lesson a new adventure

Bonus Skills:

‍ Experience with the EYFS curriculum and working with Nursery or Reception-aged children

Specialist training in early childhood development or play-based learning

Experience using technology to enhance early years learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
