Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work at our Partnership SEN School in Bury.
Ideally you will have previoous experience, however, applications from those with either personal experience or a passion to work with children with Special Educational Needs will also be considered.
The position is set to start after October half-term or potentially earlier. The school has dedicated play areas and classrooms that cater for all areas, including an outdoor play area that encourages physical activities. The school are really looking for an energetic and enthusiastic candidate with a ‘can do’ approach.
Ideal candidates will:
- Have a patient and focused attitude towards the educational development of young children
- Willingness to support and contribute effectively towards the learning outcomes of each class taught by the Teacher
- Able to work full time during school hours (8:30 – 3:30)
In your role you will be expected to actively contribute in class activities and provide 1:1 support when needed, as well as general support for both the pupils and the class teacher if they require it.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
