Manage Significant Events and chair these meetings Chair Adult and Child PHCT Meetings. Training and Development Lead. Complaints management lead to ensure all complaints are resolved in line with the Practice complaints policy and to complete the end of year return to include any claims or potential claims against the Practice, managing the communications with the Solicitors and liaising with NHS Resolutions and / or MDDUS as required. Manage the Zero Tolerance policy for the practice and investigate any cases where the patients may need to be brought to account for their actions. Lead for Freedom of Information requests, ensuring these are managed within current guidance and any responses are provided within the regulatory requirements. Lead for the KMP Green Plan Policy and Environmental and Sustainability Policy. Introducing new initiatives and making sure our activities are recorded. To work as part of a team supporting infection prevention control activities within the Practice.

Main duties of the job

Maintain CQC standards. Maintain and develop Practice Protocols and Policies, to include supervision of review of the Practice Policies. Effectively manage own time, workload and resources. Promote the image of the Practice at all times. Deal with correspondence/e-mail etc. Play a key role in delivering quality in Primary Care. Attend Partnership and Practice meetings as required. Assist in developing ideas for future practice development. Health & Safety management; including undertaking risk assessments, managing Heat alerts, Fire Safety, accident reports and reviewing annually the Health & Safety Handbook, etc. Oversee the Practice Audits making sure all audits are recorded in Team Net. Promoting the requirement of a second audit to be completed (within 2 6 months) to complete the audit process. Maintaining the Clinical Audit Protocol. To be an advocate for working groups as directed by the Practice Manager. Work in collaboration with the Practice Manager to support the PPG meetings and any actions which arise, including meeting with the chair to arrange the agenda, overseeing the minutes and communications to the PPG participants. As part of the Management Team provide IT support to staff alongside the and GPs when needed, escalate any IT issues via the portal which cannot be resolved immediately. To deputise for the Practice Manager when she is absent from the Practice.

Job responsibilities

To work in close partnership with the Practice Manager to assist in driving new business projects maintaining current and developing new income streams. To work in close partnership with the Practice to ensure targets and standards are met. Be a front-line advocate for the Kingsnorth Medical Practice. Will be expected to assist patients make best use of the services provided within the Practice. Work in partnership with the whole Primary Health Care Team (PHCT) ensuring excellent communication.
