Are you a marketing manager with 2-3 years' experience and a passion for hospitality? About Giggling Squid

Giggling Squid is an award winning Thai restaurant group set up in 2002 by husband and wife team Andy and Pranee Laurillard. As the name suggests, we don't take ourselves too seriously - we're simply about having a good time, over something seriously tasty. It's an exciting time to join us. We currently have 50 restaurants across the UK but we have ambitious growth plans to introduce our incredible Thai food to people up and down the UK.


What you'll be doing?


New restaurant openings: Plan and execute marketing campaigns for our new openings, working alongside marketing team members and managing our Graduate Marketing Exec to drive holistic campaigns, from PR to new opening events.


Brand marketing: Devise, manage and deliver campaigns and the day-to-day marketing activity across marketing channels in collaboration with the wider marketing team, supporting key brand and seasonal initiatives.


PR: Create, manage and deliver brand news to key media nationally, including new openings and seasonal events as well as leading the restaurant review programme. Ideate creative news stories to keep the brand in the news, developing and selling in press releases with support from the Graduate Marketing Exec.


Supplier partnerships: Lead third party relationships to develop creative collaborations that can be used in comms. and support business growth.


Local restaurant marketing: Support and coach local ops teams to drive local marketing efforts, upskilling new team members, providing training where necessary. Review and manage local marketing outreach efforts, representing marketing at regional meetings, ensuring teams are accountable and learnings are shared.


Reporting: Track performance of all marketing and PR campaigns, developing data led reports that deliver insights and shape future planning.
