Main purpose of the role

The Assistant Brand Manager role is to support the development and execution of effective brand activations, working closely with the Head of Brand Marketing and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include contributing to product launches, conducting market research, maintaining brand documents/files and collaborating with internal and external teams to achieve brand objectives. The role is essential for assisting with brand activations and achieving key objectives that contribute to brand success.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Execute activation plans for new product/campaign launches, involving the planning and drafting of photoshoot briefs, organisation of photoshoot samples, and management of call sheets.

  • Maintain and update key internal brand documents to ensure accuracy and accessibility for the team.

  • Manage relationships with external creative teams to facilitate effective collaboration.

  • Organise and share all content with relevant team members ahead of launches to ensure seamless coordination.

  • Provide support to the broader brand team in executing brand activations.

  • Plan and execute copywriting for AYBL Community, E-Commerce, CRM, and Social Media.

  • Ensure all content complies with branded guidelines and principles.

  • Assist with internal and external brand communications related to brand activities.

  • Assist on photoshoots as needed, covering e-commerce, lifestyle, and campaign requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure a smooth workflow and timely delivery of project content.

  • Develop and maintain consistent brand messaging across various channels and platforms to align with the overall brand strategy.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of brand strategies to enhance brand awareness and positioning.

  • Conduct market research to gain insights into consumer trends, competitor activities, and industry dynamics.

Person Specification:

  • Will have a minimum of 1-2+ years working in a similar role

  • Extremely well-organised

  • Excellent time management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Energetic, self-motivated and proactive

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Enthusiasm for the field and eagerness to learn.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, working on multiple projects at one time.
