Role responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance learning in the classroom
- Support students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and social, emotional and mental health challenges
- Deliver core subject interventions to small groups or on a 1:1 basis
- Assist students with their academic progress and emotional wellbeing
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour
- Lead classes during PPA cover, delivering pre-planned lessons
You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team that works together to handle challenging situations. A calm, patient and positive approach is essential.
The ideal candidate:
- Relevant qualifications and experience working within education
- SEN experience is essential
- Able to work Monday - Friday, term time only
