Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of students.
  • Teach a range of topics including algebra, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes mathematical thinking and application.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support student learning and understanding.
  • Assess and provide timely feedback on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate interventions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Maths curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
