Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Aseptic team of the Pharmacy Department, applicants are welcomed from registered Pharmacy Technicians and Science Manufacturing Technicians.

This is your opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team providing essential treatments to the people of North Cumbria.

This post is suitable for pre-registration pharmacy technicians qualifying Summer 2024.

Main duties of the job

The role is varied and will include

Co-ordination of day to day activities. Preparation of aseptically prepared products. Environmental monitoring. Dispensing of outsourced parenteral products. Undertaking pre-process checking of assembled trays. In-process checking during preparation. Accuracy checking of dispensed parenteral products. Generating worksheets for aseptically prepared products.
