This role is for those who want to make a real difference and help support residents and staff to reach their potential. You will be a key team player and will put residents at the heart of everything that you do.

Team Leader Contract

  •                   £14.00 per hour
  •                   Contracted Up to 44-hours per week
  •                   Pension
  •                   5.6 weeks annual leave
  •                   PVG paid
  •                   Excellent staff structure and support
  •                   Being part of a close-knit, friendly team
  •                   Additional on-going training and professional development and progression opportunities
  •                   Onsite parking

Team Leader Will Be

  •                   A caring and motivated person.
  •                   Experienced supporting older people, ideally including those living with a dementia.
  •                   Confident and experienced to lead a care team and act as champion for the wellbeing of residents.
  •                   Able to prepare, review and understand a care plan
  •                   Qualified to SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

Your key responsibilities will include

  •                   Providing excellent care and support to residents.
  •                   Ensuring high standards are always maintained.
  •                   Supervising, leading and motivating all care assistants in order for the team to function efficiently.
  •                   Assisting residents in all aspects of their care needs.
  •                   Administering medication as instructed.
  •                   Monitoring, responding, and reporting appropriately on the wellbeing of the residents and able to respond in a timely manner to any concerns.
  •                   Supporting and working with care assistants.
  •                   Maintaining good communication and developing effective working relationships with other team members.
