We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join the Primary Care team at HMP Altcourse, a category B prison located in the Fazakerley area of Liverpool.

This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. Hours: This is a bank position, offering the flexibility for you to choose shifts that work around you The hours we are looking to cover are: 7am - 8pm 8am - 9pm 10am - 10pm - admissions only - 7 days a week service to cover Salary: This position is offered on a Bank basis, and the hourly rate is £ How will we support you?

Main duties of the job

As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:

Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics Support the nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care on the wings and healthcare centres

Our new Healthcare Assistant will: Hold a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or equivalent Have a non-judgemental and compassionate approach Be able to evidence their Continued Professional Development (CPD) Although not essential, a Driving License and your own vehicle would be beneficial due to the location of the site
