We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a cheerful young boy who lives with his loving family in Bootle, he requires support with his complex and clinical care needs throughout the day and night on a 1:1 basis.

He loves the interaction with others, enjoys listening to music, stories being read to him and even having a massage, especially on his feet. Throughout the year he enjoys family breaks to Butlins and would love for staff to be available to assist and join in with these.

During term time your role will be to support with his morning routine at home before accompanying him to school. Here you will closely observe and tend to his clinical care needs when required, support with personal care and moving and handling requirements. Throughout the day you will ensure her comfort, safety and promote social interaction.

After his school day you will accompany him back home and carry out his evening routine, this will include assisting him to enjoy his hobbies, interests and tend to his clinical care needs when required.

Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care, moving and handling, making close observations, and attending to his clinical care needs when required. You will provide a peaceful environment to promote a restful night’s sleep offering reassurance and comfort when needed.

**To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following**:

- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling

**Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role**:

- Epilepsy Management
- Working with Challenging Behaviour
- Oxygen Administration

**We have the following shifts available**
- Full Time & Part Time
- Days: 8am - 4pm, 4pm - 9pm or 8am - 9pm
- Nights: 9pm - 8am

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (£169 approx. per 13- hour shift)

Weeknights: £14.00 per hour (£154 approx. per 11-hour shift)

Weekends: £15.00 per hour (£195 approx. per 13-hour shift)

Bank Holidays: £16.50 per hour (£214.50 approx. per 13-hour shift)
