This post provides technical support on the development, digitisation, marking and review of the admissions assessments, in consultation with and supporting the admissions coordinators, the external test contractor responsible for test delivery and Director and Deputy Director of UAO. Working within agreed project plans, to co-ordinate and support the development of Admissions test materials and their translation to the digital test platform. Ensure that test content and marking protocols are developed to best practice, delivered to agreed dates and are of consistently high standard. Support the specification and review of test performance information, including potential malpractice and contribute to consideration of remedial action. The Assessment Manager provides support to stakeholders and end users on the changes that will be required to successfully implement new systems, policies, procedures and process changes in relation to Admissions tests. This role will support the detailed requirements and user needs prior to go live in respect of training, logistics and future ongoing support as well as immediately after go live in respect of post implementation support and resolving any issues occurring in the test series. The successful candidate will be a well organised individual with the ability to keep track of a range of processes. An effective communicator, with strong customer service values in liaising with a range of stakeholders across colleges and departments, and be confident in presenting the work of the team to a wider audience.
