Due to amixture of both investment and excellent growth we are now lookingto recruit an Assistant Tax Manager to manage both an excitingportfolio of clients and to provide support guidance and mentor asmall team of fivepeople.
This role isideal for those who are looking to progress their career to TaxManager level andbeyond.
Requirements
Whatthe role will involve for the Assistant TaxManager:
- Givehands on advice to a variety of clients.
- Manage aportfolio of different clients. This can include audits overseeingsubmissions and all private taxclients.
- Workwith your clients to define their requirements and then quoteaccordingly. Oversee the delivery of allwork.
- Bepart of and input on tenders for new clients along with existingclients.
- Leadguide and mentor junior members of theteam.
- Achievethe revenue target which is set for all Managers. This can in mostcases be hit from the clientbase.
Whatwe are looking for in the Assistant TaxManager:
- Havepracticeexperience.
- Goodpeople managementskills.
- Partialor full CTA ACA orACCA.
- Abilityto build rapport and manageclients.
- Previousexperience within a similarrole.

What the role will involve for the Assistant Tax Manager: Givehands on advice to a variety of clients. Manage a portfolio ofdifferent clients. This can include audits, overseeing submissionsand all private tax clients. Work with your clients to define theirrequirements and then quote accordingly. Oversee the delivery ofall work. Be part of and input on tenders for new clients, alongwith existing clients. Lead, guide and mentor junior members of theteam. Achieve the revenue target, which is set for all Managers.This can in most cases be hit from the client base. What we arelooking for in the Assistant Tax Manager: Have practice experience.Good people management skills. Partial or full CTA, ACA, or ACCA.Ability to build rapport and manage clients. Previous experiencewithin a similar role.
