Deputy Nurse Manager

Salary: £53,000

We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Nurse Manager to join our client's team at their state-of-the-art nursing home, where they provide person centred dementia and nursing care services. Their facilities include lounges, a health & beauty salon, and a cinema room

As a Deputy Nurse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the nursing home. Working closely with the Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the nursing staff, coordinating patient care, and implementing best practices to maintain the highest standards of care for our residents.

Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with active RGN or RMN qualification
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and with diverse groups of people
  • Commitment to providing inclusive and person-centered care
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and standards in the healthcare industry

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Nurse Manager in leading a team of nurses and healthcare professionals
  • Ensure the delivery of safe and effective care to patients
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing staff
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans
  • Oversee the management of resources, including staff, equipment, and supplies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
  • Support the ongoing professional development of nursing staff
