GSL Education Newcastle is currently recruiting a Primary Teacher to work in a progressive and inclusive school in Washington, Tyne and Wear. We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and passionate educator who will inspire and support students in Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will be accountable for providing lessons that are both engaging and effective, and that are tailored to the unique needs of each student, thereby enabling them to reach their full potential.
Job Summary: The successful primary teacher will contribute to a dynamic and innovative team that provides high-quality education to Key Stage 2 students. You will be expected to collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for all students, assess student progress, and plan and deliver engaging lessons.
Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and support student development.
- Engage with parents and carers to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications for a Primary Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
