Wood are recruiting for a Senior Pipeline Designer to join their outstanding team in Reading or Staines. You will be working on some of the boldest projects in the Industry at the cutting edge of energy transition and security across all sectors


BTEC Higher National Certificate or a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Engineering 10+ years of onshore pipelines experience preferably in the Middle East and the UK Experience with another international design firm required (previous experience with Amec Foster Wheeler advantageous) Preferred experience in an onshore pipeline environment within the Upstream and Midstream Industry, including Middle East experience Able to work in FEED environment as well as in detailed design Proved experience in Microstation and AutoCAD is required GIS experience is preferable  Knowledge and experience in Google Earth Pro Maps preparation is required Familiar with the relevant International standards and Codes of Practice and competent in the design, specification and selection of pipeline systems to meet the requirements A fluent communicator An individual with strong drive and vision
