Step Teachers are in need of a committed and keen EYFS Teacher for supply role in an Academy in Waltham Forest. In the role of a EYFS Teacher, you will have a crucial part in guaranteeing uninterrupted education and fostering a constructive learning atmosphere for students when their usual teachers are not present. The position is scheduled to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities as a EYFS Teacher:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans effectively to facilitate student learning.
  • Maintaining classroom discipline and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Adhering to school policies and procedures.
  • Providing constructive feedback to regular teaching staff on students' progress.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the school day.

Requirements to be a EYFS Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Recent experience as a Nursery School Teacher or an EYFS Teacher.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools and year groups.
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to undergo checks.
