The Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We have an exciting opportunity for an Entry-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team, working with students who have Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD and Multiple Learning Difficulties. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to start their career in education and are ready to bring their enthusiasm and dedication to a rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, helping them engage with learning activities.
  • Support teachers in preparing and adapting learning materials and resources to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Help students with their daily routines, including personal care and mobility, where necessary.
  • Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to participate and build confidence.
  • Assist in managing classroom behavior and ensuring a safe, supportive atmosphere for all students.
  • Contribute to extra-curricular activities and the broader school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
