Are you passionate about making a difference? We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team. This entry-level position offers the chance to work closely with our pricing team, improving decision-making through effective analysis and communication.
As a Commercial Finance Analyst,we are looking for someone who will support annual price review activities and deliver regular pricing reports, including assessments of price/volume and discount performance. You'll administer the discounting governance process and provide ad hoc analyses at the request of senior management, marketing, and commercial functions. Additionally, you'll be involved in pricing new parts and responding to changes in supplier prices.
In this role, you'll identify and implement improvements in analysis, giving to both agile and significant advancements. Your proactive approach and analytical skills will be essential in driving continuous improvement and the success of our pricing strategy. You'll build on your knowledge and capabilities to become a vital part of the pricing team.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment in a related industry.
- Degree or equivalent experience or relevant professional qualification.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Tableau and IFS is a plus.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in another language is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to other LGC sites.
- Basic-to-intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint, having experience communicating and presenting findings to an audience.
- Good attention to detail, with a communication style to which others respond positively.
- Worked in a team environment, collaborating effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Experience balancing priorities and able to manage customer expectations to deliver on time.
- Business-level proficiency / fluency in English
