This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and expanding Immunology laboratory service which is part of the Microbiology Department in Raigmore Hospital. Immunology provides a clinical laboratory and interpretive service throughout the NHS Highland area plus NHS Western Isles. 

Applications are invited from suitably experienced and motivated individuals to fill the role of Specialist Biomedical Scientist within the Immunology section of the laboratory. We are looking for an HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist with Immunology experience, or a non-immunology BMS with extensive experience in protein electrophoresis both CZE and Gell electrophoresis, within an ISO 15189 accredited laboratory. It is desirable but not essential that individuals will hold a IBMS Specialist Diploma in Immunology.

The post involves rotation according to the needs of the service through sections testing for proteins, electrophoresis, allergy and autoimmune serology.
