Clinical Orderly

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2, full time, Clinical Orderly to join our team in Cardiology at the Conquest Hospital.

As part of the clinical team you will helpimprove the standards of care and patient experience in our Cardiology Department. Your duties will include general cleaning of the patient areas, some of our Cardiology outpatient area, assisting the clinical staff with essential patient equipment cleaning and cross cover for our cardiology ward areas where necessary.

All staff within the hospital have a key role to play in infection control and prevention & you could be a part of a team that makes a vital contribution to the patient's experience during their time in hospital.

Main duties of the job

To assist clinical staff with cleaning of equipment.

To ensure that stores are kept topped up and rotated.

To assist with serving of food at mealtimes.

To run errands to other departments ie Pharmacy and Pathology
