At Ashlea Court Care Home, we don't just provide care; we create a thriving community where our residents can flourish. Located in the accessible, urban setting of Ashgill, we offer Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 86 residents.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be at the core of our missiondelivering clinical excellence alongside holistic care. You'll be more than a nurse; you'll be a leader, mentor, and advocate for dignity and respect.
Registered Nurse Contract (RGN/RMN)- £19.50 per hour
- 12 hours per week (One Night Shift)
- Pension
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (Full-time equivalent)
- Uniform provided

- Craft Personalized Care Plans: Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to design tailored care plans.
- Ensure Accuracy: Maintain precise, legal, and easily accessible care documentation.
- Lead with Confidence: Organize and guide your team to deliver exceptional care.
- Facilitate Seamless Transitions: Oversee clear communication during shift handovers.
- Monitor Health: Conduct routine observations and manage health needs with a focus on safety.
- Administer Medications: Safely manage and administer medications in line with MAR sheets and protocols.
- Build Relationships: Develop trust with residents, families, and colleagues, addressing concerns with empathy.
- Promote Independence: Support residents in daily activities, fostering autonomy while providing necessary assistance.
- Champion Respect: Uphold the dignity and individuality of every resident, advocating for their needs.
- Encourage Engagement: Foster social interactions and activities to create a vibrant community.
- Prioritize Safety: Ensure a secure environment by staying vigilant about health and safety.
- Support Nutrition: Advocate for balanced nutrition, monitoring residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.
- Respond to Emergencies: Act swiftly and confidently in emergency situations, using reflective practices to continually improve care.
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN.
- Passion for care is essential; care home experience is a bonus.
- Strong communication skills, with a natural ability to connect with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Warm, patient, and empathetic in all interactions, ensuring a positive atmosphere.
