The Role

Reporting directly to the Partnerships Manager, the Partnerships Executive plays a pivotal role in the development, execution, and management of our partnerships, with a focus on partner engagement, development, and retention. The role contributes significantly to enhancing the overall brand experience, driving revenue, and supporting Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Loyalty initiatives. Operating within a highly commercial and target-driven environment, the Partnerships Executive works towards acquiring and nurturing long-term strategic partnerships that generate substantial revenue growth.

Principal Accountabilities, Qualifications and Experience

Partnership Identification and Development

Conduct market research to identify potential local/international partners aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and expansion goals. Contribute to expanding and the management of the portfolio of joint activities undertaken with partners.

Negotiation and Agreement

Support in negotiating partnership agreements and contracts to ensure mutual benefits with clearly defined goals and expectations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Finance and Operations to review and finalise partnership agreements and any associated processes.

Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective partners.  Act as the primary point of contact for partner communications, to address inquiries and ensure satisfaction.

Strategic Planning

Support the delivery of the partnership strategy, in alignment with the Company’s business objectives and the team’s objectives.  Work closely with internal teams to ensure the seamless integration of partnerships into overall business plans.

Metrics and Analytics

Regularly track, analyse, and report on the performance of partnership activities measured against set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).  Use data insights to optimise and improve existing partnerships.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Digital, Customer Engagement Hub (CEH), and other teams to ensure the cohesive execution of partnership initiatives.  Provide internal stakeholders with regular updates on partnership activities.

Problem Solving

Address challenges and obstacles which may arise during the partnership lifecycle. Develop solutions to enhance the effectiveness of partnership activities.

Communication

Develop marketing materials and presentations to support partnership initiatives that are presented internally and externally.  Any other duties and projects as directed by the Partnerships Manager and Director of Strategic Partnerships. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s Degree or MBA would be an advantage. Ideally, a recognised marketing qualification, such as CIM, IDM. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or a similar role. Knowledge of the travel industry would be desirable.  Experience in and a proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing partnerships. The ability to communicate in French and/or another European language would be desirable but is not essential.
