A leading infrastructure entity is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to play a crucial part in a major highway improvement project in St Neots. This long-term contract position offers the chance to make a significant impact on a high-profile initiative, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are upheld.

Role Essentials:
- Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive health and safety plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and devise strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.
- Lead incident investigations and drive continuous improvement in safety practices.
- Deliver training and guidance to staff on health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with management and external stakeholders to maintain safety standards.

Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within an infrastructure or construction environment.
- NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification is essential.
- Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholders.
- Experience in managing safety on large-scale projects is highly desirable.
