About the Role

North Manchester Primary School's are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Supply Teacher's to offer their support in the vibrant educational community. This role is ideal for a flexible, adaptable teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and can seamlessly integrate into our teaching team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of regular classroom teachers.
  • Lesson Delivery: Implement lesson plans left by the regular teacher or create engaging and effective lesson plans as needed.
  • Student Support: Provide individualized attention and support to students to facilitate their learning and development.
  • Assessment: Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and reporting to the regular teacher upon their return.
  • Adaptability: Quickly adapt to different classroom settings and year groups, delivering lessons across various subjects as required.
Qualifications
  • Education: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a primary school setting is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Classroom Management: Proven ability to manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work on a short-term or on-call basis, often with little notice.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialized Skills: Experience with special educational needs (SEN) or English as an additional language (EAL) students.
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the North Manchester area and local educational standards.
