In this role, we're seeking more than just a designer. We want someone ready to step into the spotlight and infuse their creativity into a brand that's bringing a fresh voice to the wellbeing drinks category. You'll seamlessly transition from crafting ideation and concepting to perfecting design details and artwork. This isn't your typical in-house design role—you'll be translating communication strategies into compelling storytelling and creative work that dance around the entire brand experience. 
Key ResponsibilitiesThe role will have 3 key areas of responsibility. 

Creative guardian (c.10% of time): 
  • You’ll be responsible for translating our brand positioning and brand design principles to refresh our creative vision and guidelines for how we show up as a brand. 
  • Inspiring the continued roll out of the creative vision you’ll be the ‘chef at the pass’ ensuring all content is to our exacting standards and consistent. 
  • Oversee content lifecycle within the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, from entry to archive, ensuring all content is up to date and meets aligned quality standards. 
Hands-on Content Design, Art working and Production (c.65% of time):
  • Digital Content Creation and Art working: Leveraging your awareness and technical expertise of digital media and evolving online platforms you’ll be design content across digital channels such as Email, landing pages, Amazon, Display, Online Grocery Channels. 
  • Social content creation – Leveraging awareness of social media trends and working with our social media lead to inject the correct tone and creative direction to bring the brand to life on social. 
  • Shopper marketing – working with our shopper design lead and leveraging shopper insights and best practice you’ll be creating artwork for print and digital adverts and in-store POS that makes us impossible not to notice us or buy us. 
  • Packaging and Innovation: Occasionally you’ll be making packaging artwork tweaks and mocking up pack or NPD concepts or innovation ideas to help bring ideation to life.  
  • Internal Communications – work with internal comms manager to design of internal comms material when required.  
Campaign and Content Concepting and Planning (c.25% of time): 
  • Campaign ideation: you will translate campaign briefs into cohesive and compelling campaigns and brand story telling with clarity of how this should be designed and personalised for specific channels and audiences. 
  • Editorial mindset: Through your in depth understanding of our communication strategy and brand positioning you’ll continuously seek content opportunities to deliver more meaningful consumer experiences through brand storytelling. 
  • Content and publishing calendar: you’ll own the calendar ensuring optimal scheduling and coordination of content across different channels. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • BTECH HND or higher in Graphic Design /content / Marketing
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working In-house or agency.
  • Hands-on creative, conceptual thinker, natural storyteller and born Art Director
  • A strong creative eye for both visual and written content with excellent attention to detail
  • Creatively connected, you know the best collaborators to elevate the output from - copywriters, photographers, digital, animators, videographers etc.
  • Using insight and data to ensure your creative solution is both engaging and effective is your natural approach.
  • Continuous improvement approach, actively seek feedback and learnings on the effectiveness of your work. 
  • Highly organised and adept at scoping and leading multiple projects at any one time
  • Aware of current creative trends and tuned in to the world of lifestyle, health and wellness, popular culture to ensure your work is highly relevant, engaging, and entertaining.
  • A portfolio brimming with a variety of creative and effective work that showcases your experience and knowledge of multiple channels and platforms.
  • Proven pedigree of embracing technology, digital and innovation in your work
  • Demonstrable understanding of ecommerce, including direct-to-consumer, online grocery, marketplaces, and Amazon. 
  • Proficient in using creative and content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Digital Asset Management
