Your opportunity

The Senior Finance Business Partner is a pivotal role within Janus Henderson’s finance department, acting as the bridge between finance and the broader business. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of finance, who can apply their skills to drive business performance and growth. You will be responsible for providing financial insights and guidance to business units including global distribution teams, influencing decisions, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

This role reports to Director, Business Finance and has 3 Direct Reports across 3 locations (London, Denver, Singapore) Business Partnering support to the Global Client Group, comprising Heads of Sales Territories, including Channel Marketing and Head of Product Strategic Business Partnering and optimising financial outcomes Interpretation and provision of key management information and metrics, such as Net New Revenue (NNR), Flow, Contribution, margins vs trend and targets Financial support, modelling and scenario analysis for growth initiatives Functional budgeting, forecasting, target setting (NNR and flow), expense reporting and headcount control Co-ordination of functional efficiency savings and incremental spend requests Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills

Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) Business Partnering with Distribution / Client Group teams Engagement with senior executives such as CFO and CEO Budgeting, forecasting and management reporting Strong financial modelling skills Advanced competency with Microsoft Excel Strong organizational/administrative management skills Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have skills

Proficient with Power BI Able to work independently to research, analyse, synthesize, and present complex qualitative and quantitative data clearly Able to understand the objectives and priorities of the business Ability to work efficiently within a global team
