Responsibilities

With support from the Senior Marketing Manager and Head of Global Marketing, plan and deliver strategic campaigns to deliver brand authority, awareness and engagement: liaising with stakeholders and agencies to ensure campaign success.  Write / produce a variety of omni-channel content (blog posts, industry updates, user-generated content, case studies, summaries of awards and events, podcasts, webinars), for use across all channels.  Take responsibility for the content on UK and International World of Education Wordpress websites, regularly updating with relevant posts and briefing in UX and design changes to relevant teams.  Support content updates on the International Distributor Hub Work with the Marketing Managers to gather market insights to inform strategy and test concepts with relevant audiences.  Analyse GA4 data to understand best-performing content and make recommendations for continuous improvements.  Work alongside the social media, events, digital marketing and product teams to co-ordinate all content to support brand activity.  Devise and regularly update a content calendar to ensure full visibility of all content streams across all markets.  Keep up-to-date with competitor activity and industry news to make suggestions for timely and relevant blog posts to ensure we maintain customer engagement throughout the year.  Use search tools to ensure all content produced is optimised for digital channels Line manage the Social Media Executive and support them to hit KPIs Proof-reading and SEO support for content supplied by other areas of the business.  Work closely with the digital acquisition team to understand search trends and provide content based on trending topics and key search terms.  Forge relationships with influencers to share content and explore opportunities for backlinks. 

Experience

Strong experience in a content-based role.  Degree or similar qualification in marketing, journalism, English or communications.  Ability to co-ordinate a number of workstreams, working alongside many different departments.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Creativity and the ability to develop original content that provokes engagement.  Exceptional organisational skills and experience of working with stakeholders at all levels.  Extensive SEO knowledge and experience of writing content that performs well in SERPs.  Highly computer literate with knowledge of popular search tools.  CMS experience, in particular WordPress would be very advantageous.  Experience of working with influencers and associated management/agents as well as a track record of working with/managing creative agencies would be advantageous.  Experience of PR desirable but not essential.
