**Job Description**:
As an Operations Coordinator, you will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of courier and freight forwarding with a focus on customer service. Rapid operational excellence is key to this role with focus on servicing the client and supporting the team in the branch on a day-to-day basis. In this role there are good opportunities for career development, growth and moving into different areas of expertise.
- Process and distribute documentation and create and update administration in a timely manner
- Manage with all aspects of international and domestic freight movements
- Build strong relationships with customers and ensure all needs are met within the specified delivery time
- Liaise with overseas offices and customers for shipment movements, taking responsibility for monitoring progress and keeping the customer advised of the status
- Raising of Customer invoices and ensuring job is profitable
- Any other reasonable request made from time to time

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in in a multimodal position with current hands-on experience with courier services
- Educated to GCSE standard (minimum of 5)
- Understanding of tariffs for billing purposes and confidence to deal with customers daily
- Comfortable to work with deadlines in a lively environment
- IT savvy (MS Office) and knowledge of EDI Enterprise Operating System would be an advantage
- You are a good communicator with strong organisational skills and attention for detail
