Job Duties:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through regular tests and assignments
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment in the classroom
  • Collaborate with colleagues to discuss teaching methods and best practises
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Mathematics to secondary school students is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
  • Experience using educational technology in the classroom
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a school setting with classrooms and educational facilities
  • Full-Time hours with occasional evening or weekend work for school events
  • Collaboration with other teaching staff and school management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
