About the role
Connex Education is working with a Secondary School in Hartlepool who are recruiting for a Maths Teacher to work full- time during term time. The role is to start immediately until the end of the academic year.
About the school
A Well established mainstream secondary school within the Hartlepool area is currently looking to fill an ongoing temporary role within their Maths Department for someone who shares the same passion and values for education. They are looking for an Maths Teacher who is hard working, resilient and who wants to make a difference to pupils education. The right candidate will be able to confidently step into the department and continue teaching the existing schemes of work.
Assignment Details
As a supply maths teacher, you will be responsible for effectively delivering maths instruction to secondary school students across Key Stages 3-4. You will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum, differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities, and employ a range of teaching methods to facilitate pupil learning. The successful applicant will have a  strong background in mathematics, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to build positive rapport with Students

Person Specification
must be 21 and over
Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
PGCE in Math’s or related subject from a recognized provider
You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
Have experience teaching Math’s in a UK secondary school setting.
Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 Math’s lessons across ability ranges.
Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
