We're looking for a General Manager for a wet led community pub in Cambourne. Salary up to £40-42k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.
Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Monkfield Arms in Cambourne and lead the team to success

About the pub
The Monkfield Arms is situated in a beautiful period style building, at the heart of Great Cambourne, surrounded by the Cambridgeshire countryside. The Monkfield benefits from being the only pub in town, acting as a fantastic hub for all community events. The site functions via a two room operation and has 3 main entrances, with segmented dining/drinking areas, and a dedicated pool and darts area. The pub regularly showcases live acts and bands and this is a great revenue stream for the business.
The Monkfield welcomes locals and well as those visiting the area for drinks and food daily. It also boasts a popular Sunday roast offer, and has a pizza oven situated in the more relaxed dining space. With a real family friendly feel The Monkfield Arms is currently averaging £17k in weekly sales with a wet led sales mix (75%).
We are looking for an engaging General Manager who can continue to build on the successes of the Monkfield Arms and serving the community. Someone who is forward thinking and passionate about driving the food side of the business.
