Aboutyou

Asa Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in analysing andmodelling financial data, interpreting trends, and providing insightsto support key business decisions and actionable solutions. You willcollaborate with stakeholders across different departments tounderstand business processes, assess needs, and drive improvementsthrough data-driven recommendations and to optimise our company'sstrategies and competitiveness.

Whatwill I spend my day on at Noriker?

  • Fully understanding the UK Power Market

  • Gathering, analysing, and interpreting power market data, businessdevelopment concepts and strategies to identify new opportunities

  • Gather and document business requirements, conduct feasibilitystudies, create process flows/diagrams, and develop business casesto support decision making.

  • Build and optimise complex business models to support capitalproject decisions, accurately detailing the business case whileconsidering the state of the energy market

  • Develop a strong understanding of the UK power services sector,specifically technology options, and commercial and regulatorydrivers

  • Perform competitor analysis and develop our understanding offinancial and business risk

  • Contribute to the development process of asset projects, providingcreative solutions to deliver cost, efficiency, and low carbonsolutions to energy consumers and infrastructure projects.

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, ComputerScience, Mathematics, or related field

  • Great experience with advanced Excel use

  • Experience building and maintaining complex financial models

  • Some experience in and exposure to the engineering sector

  • Ability to complete market research and present proposalsconsidering the structuring of company capital and regulatoryrequirements

  • Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Eligible to work in the UK permanently
