Then look no further as we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for driving procurement strategy that reflects national, regional, and local requirements. You will also be responsible for developing enabling contracts that leverage our scale in the marketplace for our addressable spend in certain categories. Key accountabilities for this role include liaising with First Group Procurement and associated Train Operating Companies (TOCs) to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing costs, risks, and compliance through robust contracts with approved suppliers, while ensuring alignment with First Group's legal governance, requirements, and obligations. The ideal candidate will have: Good knowledge and application of Utilities Contracts Regulations with respect to tendering Good level of understanding of contract law in the IT category Extensive Experience of delivering procurement solutions on various categories of spend. Experience of planning and budgeting including business planning, expenditure mapping and development of strategies to create efficiencies. Please review the role profile for more information.
