Job overview

Cancer Services Division are looking to appoint a Divisional Clinical Director. This is a 3-year fixed term leadership position. 
The Divisional Clinical Director will be providing strategic leadership to the Division working in partnership with the Divisional Manager and Medical Director. The post holder will play a central role in two-way communication with those leading and providing the clinical services, with senior Trust management to ensure strategies are aligned and with our key external partners including BRC, UCL and Whittington Health.

The role is for up to 5 PAs of time (job plan and time commitment arrangements to be agreed with Medical Director).

Main duties of the job

Reporting to a Medical Director, the Divisional Clinical Director and the Divisional Manager are jointly responsible and accountable for the delivery of services within the Cancer Services division. The Divisional Clinical Director will be responsible for providing the direction, leadership and vision to enable the Division to meet its objectives and to improve patient experience.
