Requirements for the Hospital Director (RMN/Mental Health Nurse) role:
  • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN)

About the Mental Health Hospital:

Our client provides care to adults with complex Mental Health conditions.

The role of a Hospital Director (RMN/Mental Health Nurse) within the Mental Health Hospital involves:
  • Being accountable for the hospital's clinical and commercial performance
  • Assessing and supervising the work of members of staff, ensuring that their training is up to date and in line with internal and external policies
  • Holding regular meetings with service users, relatives and external agencies
  • Developing, implementing and monitoring systems and policies
  • Monitoring and reviewing accident reports, ensuring the relevant bodies are informed
  • Ensuring that the Hospital is compliant with internal and external policies and procedures
  • Managing and staying within the agreed budget
  • Endeavouring to fill any job vacancies and maintaining safe levels of staffing
