We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Deputy Manager (Mental Health) to lead our dual diagnosis service for addiction and mental health in Longsight, Manchester.

The Role

As Deputy Manager, you will support the General Manager in the day-to-day operations, deputise in their absence, and oversee the direct supervision and line management of the team. Your goal will be to ensure the highest care standards, helping our clients make the most of every day.

As Deputy Manager, you will provide inspirational leadership, mentoring, and coaching to your team, driving quality and governance to meet and exceed all care and regulatory standards. You will maintain and enhance our high standards, building strong relationships with our clients, regulators, and other key stakeholders.

Candidates must have a thorough understanding and positive attitude towards mental health and addiction issues, with proven experience in mental health social care.

Key Skills and Experience

In-depth knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent Experience in mental health service provision and team management Effective multitasking and prioritisation skills Excellent leadership abilities Confidence in multidisciplinary and stakeholder discussions and meetings Strong relationship-building skills with all stakeholders Experience in provisioning new services Strong IT skills

Salary and Hours

Monday to Friday Salary dependent on experience
