A number of opportunities within the Stockport area have come up for someone who’s wanting to start their Teaching Career as a Teaching Assistant.

For the roles in hand, any relevant experience would be ideal for the schools, however the schools would also be open to applicants who show the any transferable skills that could assist the pupils in their leaning, whether its knowledge learnt from your degree, or experience from previous roles.

The successful candidates’ main responsibilities will be:

  • Aiding current teachers through working lessons.
  • Helping the students carry out a range of work in multiple subjects.
  • Help enforce the school’s brilliant behaviour policies.
  • Keep the pupil’s continual personal development to a targeted level.

Not only does this position offer some excellent learning experiences and career progression opportunities, but the successful candidate will also receive:

  • £400 - 500 weekly wage. (Dependant on experience)
  • Free Training and learning programs available.
  • Opportunity to work in ‘GOOD’ schools, from Ofsted reports.
