Behaviour Coach

Location: Grays

Pay Scale: £70 - £130 Per Day

Start Date: ASAP  

Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

GSL Education are looking for a passionate Behaviour Coach to join our vibrant school in Grays. If you are enthusiastic about helping young people overcome challenges and develop positive behaviour patterns, this role is perfect for you. As a Behaviour Coach, you will support students in managing their behaviour, boosting their confidence, and helping them stay on track with their academic goals.

Job Summary:

The Behaviour Coach will work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and students to develop behaviour strategies that create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will play a key role in shaping the school’s approach to student wellbeing and success.

Responsibilities as a Behaviour Coach:

  • Provide targeted one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural challenges.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and monitor student progress.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive classroom environment.
  • Help students develop coping skills, resilience, and self-discipline.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure consistency in behaviour management.
  • Track attendance and behaviour data, identifying patterns and areas for improvement.

Requirements for a Behaviour Coach:

  • Experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting student needs.
  • Passion for making a difference in young people's lives.
