Church Street Medical - Newly qualified Nurse or Nursing Associate

We are a friendly, caring GP Practice in the popular town of Tewkesbury, seeking a practice nurse/nursing associate to join us. The candidate will be working as part of our multidisciplinary team of GPs, ACPs, FCP, nurses, clinical pharmacist, HCAs, NAs and phlebotomist.

We are in search of a compassionate and dedicated individual who excels both as a collaborative team member and an independent practitioner. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and independence in effectively managing their clinical workload. This post will be a full time position.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of vital nursing tasks including wound care, routine immunizations/childhood immunisations, long-term condition reviews, cervical screening, venepuncture, stock management and assisting our ANP with coil fittings. Experience in diabetes management would be an advantage.

Main duties of the job

Main Duties and General Administrative Responsibilities:

Clinically, the role will include all elements of treatment room nursing. Chronic disease management, dependant on training and experience. Working within infection control policies and other CQC requirements. Conduct all duties in accordance with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) code of professional conduct and other local/ national policies, guidelines, and protocols.
