Quality Technician

Role
The quality technician will be carrying out equipment calibrations and checks and also managing and planning the equipment summary for internal and external calibrations to ensure these are carried out within a set period of time. The Quality technician will also support laboratory personnel and managers when necessary to ensure that equipment down time is kept to a minimum. Occasional stay overs may be required for visits to site laboratories so a driving license is essential. The quality technician will report to the regional quality manager North.
Skills
The quality technician will need to be self motivated with an attention to detail. A good understanding of the Microsoft software packages is essential and a good level of maths.
As some site visits maybe required, a full UK driving license is essential.
All training in our systems and the calibration methods will be given so a good attitude to learning new skills is required.
