The Role

Job Overview:

The Airbnb Property/Cleaning Manager will be responsible for managing the overall cleanliness and maintenance of multiple Airbnb properties, sourcing, testing, and training cleaning staff, and ensuring that the highest cleaning standards are maintained. The role also involves managing guest satisfaction and tracking cleaning quality through exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, hire, test, and train cleaners (freelancers and cleaning companies) to maintain a reliable supply of staff.
  • Oversee and coordinate cleaning schedules across multiple properties, ensuring all properties are cleaned on time and to the highest standard.
  • Use software tools to track cleaning performance, including receiving photo reports of completed cleans.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure cleaning standards meet company expectations.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure all cleaning products and equipment are available as needed.
  • Manage the guest experience, ensuring smooth check-ins/outs and addressing any property-related guest concerns.
  • Regularly inspect properties for cleanliness, organization, and overall readiness for guests.
  • Continuously optimize and improve cleaning processes for better efficiency and guest satisfaction.


Ideal Profile

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Portuguese is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in property or hospitality management, particularly in the short-let or Airbnb sector.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties and cleaning schedules simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to manage relationships with freelance cleaners and cleaning companies, ensuring a consistent supply.
  • Familiarity with cleaning tracking software or willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both cleaners and guests.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
